Feedback from workshop participants:
"After attending Dr. Dawn Kiyoe Culpepper’s impactful workload equity workshop, department chairs were inspired to initiate tangible actions within their departments. These actions include reviewing workload and committee assignments, advocating for clearer guidelines and workload dashboards, developing transparent policies, and engaging in faculty conversations to address workload inequities. The workshop’s influence will lead to concrete steps toward creating a more transparent, equitable, and inclusive academic environment for departments served by our ADVANCE Joining Forces Projects at four midwestern institutions."
